No. Our bars are made with sodium coco sulfate (SCS), which is much gentler on your hair and scalp. SCS is derived from coconut, not petroleum like traditional SLS. It creates a rich, satisfying lather without the harsh stripping effect that SLS is known for. You get a deep clean without dryness or irritation.
While it all depends on your length of hair and how often you shampoo. One bar will usually get you about 60 washes if you have long hair. Don't leave it sitting in water or it will disintegrate and not last as long.
Shipping costs us around $22 - $28 depending on where you are in the country. The bar is normally $16.99. We are giving you the bar for free and only asking you to pay a small portion of the shipping. We're paying the rest!
The tin it comes in is great for travel but we don't suggest keeping the bar in the tin while in the shower. Instead place on a soap dish with drainage. Always let the bar dry before placing back in the tin.
We use essential oils both for the benefits they have for a healthy hair and scalp, and also for the delicious scent. Unfortunately the scent is super strong in the beginning but fades over a few month's time. The bars are still good and the benefits are all there - except the scent. We have a ton of new inventory coming that smells great and so we're giving away the ones whose scent has faded. (about 200 bars!)
Not for this promotion. We pre-pack a mix of scents and send them out in the order they’re prepared. This keeps the process fast since we are giving away so many. Think of it as a fun surprise, and you can choose your favourite when you come back for a full-size bar.
We're giving away one per customer and yes, we process the orders manually so we won't send two, even if you add 2 to your order or place 2 orders.
